Privacy Policy
At Retrac Labs, we believe privacy is a right, not a feature. This page describes the privacy practices for jarredmcarter.com and all apps published under the Retrac Labs name. The apps collect nothing. The website counts page views without cookies and without identifying you, which is why it has no consent banner to click.
No cookies from me.
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. Cloudflare states that it “does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics,” and that it does not fingerprint individuals via IP address, User Agent, or anything else. Measurement is taken from the browser’s Performance API and reported as aggregate counts.
Because the analytics store nothing on your device and read nothing from it, they are not the kind that needs a cookie banner. What I can see is limited to totals: popular pages, referrers, countries, and device types. There is no way for me to single you out, follow you between visits, or recognise you on another site.
This site used Google Analytics until September 2026.
That has been removed entirely. If you visited before then, your
browser may still hold _ga cookies from it; every
page now deletes those on load. Nothing reads them in the
meantime.
One thing of mine is stored on your device, and
only if you ask for it: jc-theme holds the word
“light” or “dark”, written when you click
the theme switch so the site remembers your preference. It never
leaves your browser and is not analytics. Clearing site data
removes it.
The one exception is Apple Music’s player on the
fitness page. My class playlists play right on
/fitness/ through Apple Music’s embedded
player, which loads as you scroll to it. When it does, Apple
sets a geo cookie, stores an analytics client ID
(mtClientId) in your browser, and reports to
Apple’s metrics service, all under Apple’s privacy
policy. Every playlist also has a plain link that opens Apple
Music directly.
Other parties, unavoidably. The site is served by GitHub Pages, which keeps its own request logs including IP addresses for security and abuse purposes; I have no access to them. Fonts are fetched from Google Fonts, which receives your IP as a side effect of serving the font files.
Nothing is sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes. There is no ad network, no social pixel, no embedded widget, no mailing list, and no account to create.

SnippyStack stores your clipboard history exclusively on your own Mac using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.

- Does not use analytics or crash reporting
- Does not display advertising
You are in full control of your data at all times. You can view, pin, delete, or clear your entire clipboard history from within the app at any time.
Because we collect no data, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. Your data lives on your device and is entirely under your control.
If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. We will never introduce data collection without clearly disclosing it here first.
